About Hyderabad Tiger Conservation Society
HYTICOS is a grassroots non-profit organization dedicated to conserving tigers, their prey, the larger ecosystem and the forests they call home across Telangana’s key landscapes — the Kawal, Amrabad, and Nagarjuna Sagar Srisailam Tiger Reserves. Through collaborations with forest departments, research institutions, and local communities, HYTICOS continues to strengthen its role as a field-based conservation network committed to data-driven action.

Upcoming Projects to Fund
HYTICOS is expanding its conservation work through initiatives such as Living Leopards, focused on understanding and reducing human–wildlife conflict in Kamareddy, and Little Ambassadors of Wildlife (LAW), which engages young people in nature education. We are also studying landscape changes in Kawal to assess impacts on biodiversity, collaborating with GIS start-ups to model habitat availability, and mapping critical urban green spaces through LUNGS (Last Urban Natural Green Spaces)—starting in Hyderabad and expanding across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
